The meadow scene was beautifully written. The way bella and edward confessed their feelings towards each other, bella tracing patterns on edwards arms was so romantic.

I especially loved the fact that they were both being completely honest with each other, ie: bella telling him that she's rather die than not be with him, and edward explaining her scent (throat exposure lol).

Woohoo!!! someone starting the conversation in the Twilight thread I was so afraid that I would end up just deleting all of the specific book boards except for BD and the host and let us just talk in.. wait that IS a good idea.

I loved the meadow scene...it was so beautiful and It was great to finally break through Edwards mask and see him being so vunerable and so human for the first time it was like we really got to see who Edward was with all the walls broken down. Ok i sound like a geek, It's probably from constantly analyzing texts in English but it's true

No, you don't sound geeky, its incredibly true. Its the first time we see Edward without his human facade. he's incredibly inhuman and its so incredibly wonderful that he can be himself without worrying..

Ditto Elysia's comment. that's exactly how i felt. mmmmmm i love that scene.

The meadow scene is my favourite part of the entire book. It was really sweet how they could be completely honest and drop all the walls they had put up because they were finally alone together.

Twilight of course is so far the best book I have ever read. However I do see some faults with it like how Bella's klutziness casts her as a damsel in distress that always needs a man to save her and that Edward is almost tooo perfect. Well, except for being overprotective and a control freak at times.

There were times in Twilight I actually laughed out loud because of things Edward said such as "in that case I hope you enjoy dissapointment"
Some of my favourite quotes are: "If I could dream at all, it would be about you and I'm not ashamed of it"
"Stupid, shiny volvo owner"
"Your hair looks like a haystack- but I like it”

I remember reading the meadow scene and being like THIS IS EPIC.
But now I've read it so many times I nearly know it off by heart.

I also really liked the Port Angeles chapter when we got to see Edwards protective side and how honest he was with Bella...I was surprised he didn't even try to deny it when she asked him if he was a vampire. All it would have taken to keep his secret hidden was him saying "no, of course I'm not" and Bella would have believed him and the mystery would have continued...I'm glad he was honest with her of course. Just surprised that he didn't even attempt to deny it after so many years of pretending and trying to fit in.

i love the port angeles scene where he pinches the bridge of his nose and asks Bella to distract him. then she goes of onto a rant on how she is going to run tyler over so he doesnt have to take her to prom.

poor edward, he's so over-protective.
