okay so what do ppl think about maybe having a national Twilight convention... maybe next year? (depending on what Twilight events are happening) ...Some of us on TA are talking about it and we think it'd be awesome.... Kara (who runs Cullcast) even suggested a dual poscast with F&I during the convention....
hey maybe (if we work together) we could even get SM out here for it!
It'd probably be held in Sydney - it makes sense especially if we wanna promote it to international visitors and guests
.... but otherwise somewhere kinda central (in fairness to those who DON'T live in Sydney lol)

anyways.... just floating the idea atm... any thoughts? (any volunteers to help organise it? lol)

that would be absolutely amazing and so much fun...but i'm wondering what could all the entertainment be since i've only been to supernova, it'd a lot of hard work organising and finding contacts.

i feel a challenge coming on!

well IF we get a special guest that'd be a talk/Q&A session and signing...

we can do special debates and discussions, planning workshops (how to crash film premieres 101... plus our great Twilight Crusade to Forks plan) we can have competitions and of course a gala/partay.... maybe even a 'twilight' inspired concert (there's at least one aussie band I read about that does Twilight-inspired music)
any twilight-related activities we can think of ;p

so.... just thought I'd update everyone on the whole big convention plan... things are well underway... we've been having some very productive discussions at TA (plus online 'meetings') and we think we can do this

At this stage we're planning to distribute 'expression of interest' forms at all the major BD release events for fans to tell us what they think about the idea and offer their suggestions (re: cost, activities etc...) This also acts like a 'petition' to show to our potential sponsors, guests and partners that there is more than enough interest out there for this...
So.... keep an eye out at your BD events for the forms, and if anyone is interested in being a part of the organising group (particularly the podcast girls - we'd love to have you on board! ;p) let me know!

awesum Mallie! we're 'meeting' on msn chat this Saturday at 2pm (we usually meet on Sundays but, being the day before BD this week, we thought it best to bring it forward ;p) .... of course if you're busy setting up for Sat nite no worries ;p anyways I'll add you on msn so you can join in whenever if that's kewl
