EHehe so. I went away last week. But before I did, I went onto freeforums control panel and discovered it was possible to upgrade the forum. I thought "hey, why not? we might get some increased functionality out of this." and pressed the "upgrade forum"

Eheh unfortunately, it decided to finally implement the forum while I was away, leaving all of you going "what the hell happened?!?!?!" since i managed to neglect to tell ANYONE that it was happening..

yeah.. my bad

Anyways. Long story um.. long, thing is I honestly thought we'd be able to change back to the old lovely forum, but it turns out Freeforums will no longer be supporting the old Version 2 boards, which means we would have had to upgrade sometime before december anyways.

So, if you don't like this skin because the avatars are on the wrong side etc, you have the option of changing to one of the active ones in your profile. Unlike the old forum, where I prevented you from doing thing (Heh, sorry), you'll be able to switch til you find one. The only drawback is that the other skins don't have a logo yet, but Angie will be working on that when she has time

So yeah, I'm sorry about all that, I really am! I'll tell you next time I try something like that out lol, promise!

While I miss our old look forum I'm actually quite liking this one now I've had the chance to warm up to it. It's not the same admittedly but it's not bad.

That massive chat box at the top annoys me a little bit ... is there a function where you can shrink it? But aside from that, it looks pretty snazzy, even if I do miss our old banner and system...

I quite like the chat box actually.. just sort of miss the creamy coloured background.

i'm hating the chat box... it's like an annoying ad one has to scroll past to get to where they want to be... another forum i'm part of has the chat box at the bottom of the page...

Yeah I have to say I'm not a fan of the chat box being where it is. =\

Although wouldn't it get kinda lost, being at the bottom of the page? I'd just end up forgetting it was there...

but the updating is annoying..

yer i got confused when i got back but i think the change is good. i like the chat box. its usefull
