the A&R at southport (an hour from brisvegas). We're the only A&R franchise on the gold coast so we pretty much get to do what we want, but the downside is that we don't get any funding at all.

today i was going to scope out the other bookstores and see if they were doing anything, but it was such a crappy day.

Well my A&R did nothing.
Literally, they just shelved the special editions right down the back of the store with the rest of the twilight series.

We've got ours all gorrrgeously arranged in this dump bin (it isnt as bin like as it sounds girlies

) and I'm going to decorate it with ribbon next chance I get!

Oh yes they did.
The SM books are all at the back of the store with the kids/teenage novels. But they put the SM novels on a shelf next in the corner next to the door to their backroom and you can't even see the books

I remember when i first went to buy my twilight series and i couldn't find them!

yep, i have so many people telling me they can't find it to buy it because my local A&R hides them down in the back corner.

mallie, the bin rocks! i think i touched every single copy you had of the eclipse special ed, trying to find a good one. and i did...

anyway, i am now fiercely protective of my eclipse spcial ed. i tend to growl if people go near it. but most of the time i keep it in a locked drawer (open at night just in case i need to grab it quickly if the house is burning or something)

They got moved yesterday - they were in the red bin, now they're BEHIND THE COUNTER!

with Black fabric behind them, a couple of "Preorder BD today"'s, and red ribbon. Its sooooo much cooler

well then, i may have to go see it. perferably this weekend.

i'm trying to decide whether to buy a new copy of new moon or the twilight specail ed. dilemma!

the Twilight new ed is now $25, and the EC is now $30 - same price as the paperbacks
