Hey guys, I'm extremely extremely sorry for not keeping you updated for the past few weeks, We've been have some issues within the family, and then issues with the internet, but fear no more for I have returned! OK, so update:
-I have been SLOWLY receiving petitions from around the globe (we've made contact with a few other countries, which is great)
- I've built up a nice little army of forks, allthough I'm not sure how many I'll need, because not many people have sent in their petitions yet, I'm hoping that as Aug 11 nears they'll start acting.
-If anyone does want to decorate a fork for themselves, please feel free to do so and send it along with your petitions.

but i was at a cinema (in brisbane) and i saw the twilight poster

and then i asked the girl if i could have the poster, and she said yes but i couldnt have it until after it was released AT THE END OF THE YEAR
now maybe she just assumed it was the same date but why would they have a poster for a movie thats months away? they didnt even have HP up and thats out in november. so yeah, i dont know

but you should have seen me when i saw the poster

Hey guys, I know that your all probably nose deep in breaking dawn at the moment, but for any of you that are online and are reading this, I have a little message/update.

As we all should know that breaking dawn was released today, the time has finaly come to see what happens in the final installment of the saga.

first off, I haven't slept since saturday, so the message might sound a bit weird.

Today I managed to get about 250 signatures for the petition, and am still waiting on mail petitions to arrive. all together we have around 400 signatures, which is a fair effort, but no where near as big as we need this to be to be able to catch the attention of summit. so PLEASE if you could go to your local bookstore and ask if you could put a few petitions on the counter for people to sign as the buy breaking dawn, then we might be able to look forward to a premiere in australia!

Also, I've been doing the math, and its going to cost about $50 per 2 kg of forks (including the petitions) and each fork weighs about .3 grams. You can do the equation, but its going to be alot of money if we get past 100 and any money that you might be able to send in with your petitions would be much appreciated, and a special mention will certainly go to you in the card that I will be sending with all the volunters names on it.

PLEASE also remember that the dead line for the petitions is next monday, the 11th of august. So if you havnt allready sent them in, please do so ASAP.

sorry forgot to mention, anyone who gets more than 100 signatures will get their name put on the card aswell, just put your name on the back of the envelope (you DONT have to put your address, just your name) and I'll do the rest.

so did you mean .3kg? cause if each fork is only .3g then, that's like.. 6000 forks for $50...

and im sending my signatures tomorrow (pray i remember) but you won't get them til monday earliest.. more like tues/wed.. is that going to be okay? if not, well erm.. im out of time for other options so i suppose you just won't get my signatures? eek. sorry.

if you haven't already, you should probably send out a reminder email to everyone who you sent the petitions to, because i bet alot of people like me will have blanked on the due date *sigh*

No, your signatures should be here in time, dont stress. I have absalutaly no idea what i meant with the whole $50 thing, as i mentioned, I hadnt slept since saturday, but If people would like to send in a couple of dollars with their petitions would be helpful. I tried sending out a mass email the other day, but then my computer crashed (again, grrr) and will be trying again in the next few minutes. I'm certianly going to try to get a reminder on the lexicon, but as for the other ones, I hvnt made contact with them before, so i dont know how that will go down with them, however if you wanted to make a comment that would be helpful too. I am thoroughly kiking myself for not organising this better as- if i had asked people earlier to get their local bookstores invovled for the launch of breaking dawn then we would be so close to near at least 10,000 signatures that its not funny. If only i had a time turner. oh well, there is nothing that i can do now.
