New Moon's heartbreaking!!

The part where bellla rushes to her room to find the cd + photos of edward gone and the following pages with just the month printed in it made me cry my heart out! it was goddamn depressing!!

And jacob really irritated me in this novel.

Worse. When she falls to the ground sobbing and her face is literally INCHES away from where the CD and photos are. Oh god.

I always ALWAYS cry when she says "you don't... want... me?"

yeh i cried my heart out when she fell to the floor in her room, but never lost consciousness. she was just numb.

I felt like my insides had just died.

just thinking about new moon again makes me want to cry. that is my least favourite book simply because of the break up.

See, I was re-reading NM the other day, and I realised how short the section with Jake really is. It feels like forever because your heart is breaking because Bella is so nuuumb, but its actually about 150/200 pages out of 500/600. Weird huh?

I actually don't hate NM. It breaks my heart, but how wonderfully awful was it when you turned the pages and all it says is "November... december..." etc

Ah Mallie I see your a fellow Masochist I actually really liked New Moon...I guess it was mostly because when i read it Eclipse had already been released so I knew Edward would be back and the fact that I actually admire him for being able to leave...a lot of people seem to focus on the pain Bella feels because the story is from her viewpoint but I also think about just how much pain Edward was in...having to lie and be so creul and then leave her thinking he didn't want her. It must have completely killed him to say that stuff and just walk away. Also Bella had Jacob to lean on, Edward had no-one at all.

*laughs* NM is good when I'm in that sort of mood (I must be a masochist, I passed over TW to read NM)..

*laughs sheepishly* I flicked to the back of teh book, chekced that edward was mentioned, then continued reading happily. lol. I have no will power.

Edward.. was an idiot.. but he was doing what he thought was the right thing. The whole thing is just heartbreaking. Esp. knowing that Edward was going to have to live the rest of her life knowing she was there, living her life, and wasn't with him...

Its too easy, really, to forgive him for leaving lol

i loved new moon. the fact that it was so different from twilight made me love it. it wasn't the typical edward+bella together forever, with each other everyday thing.

I didn't see edward leaving at all!! but yeh you're right. the jacob+bella section isn't long at all. it's just because we're longing for edward and hurting with bella.

the blank pages with months killed me. literally it made me ache even more i just wanted to die.

loved New Moon. Was excellent. makes me appreciate/want edward on a whole other level.

jacob part isnt long at all. we are just longing for edward to return whilst hurting with bella.

i loved new moon. cried heaps. still loved it. oh the power of edward can do strange and wonderful things to a girl.
