As soon as i read chapter 20 i felt slightly sympathetic towards Jacob. But edward did say that 'he wouldn't fight fair' so, it really was the best man winning.

I think Jacob, Edward and Bella all did wrong things...Jacob was manipulative, Edward wouldn't allow Bella to spend any time with Jake (I think part of that was protectiveness but I also believe he was jealous and didn't want to give Jacob any chance to take Bella from him) and Bella hurt both of them. I'm completely for Bedward all the way but i have a soft spot for Jacob...he really was only trying to save Bella.

So i was thinking, after i finished re-reading eclipse last night, you know how bella picked up the rock ready to act as the third wife did (in the story Billi Black told @ beach)...
if worst came to worst do you think bella would have done it? would she have killed herself inorder to save both cullens & werewolves??

O.o I hope not, but I bet she would have (would have forced them to change her too, muahaha. WE might have had a vampire bella by the end of EC!)
She loves Edward so much, and Alice and the Cullens and jake and the boys.. not to mention the fact that if Victoria won, she would have gone after Charlie.. I honestly think she would have sacrificed herself.

Yes i agree. She loves the Cullen more than she can express. She loves Jake and the boys too, she'd blame herself if anything ever happened to them.Anything.
Look at the way she reacted when edward told her it was jacob that was wounded. or the bot where she's at the cullens and she slowly reads their faces,each and everyone of them her family now.

I definetly think she would have, the way she connected with the third wife in the Quileute tale and her love for both the Pack and the Cullens...She would rather die than see any of them hurt.
And just think how frustrating it will be if we got to the end of BD and Bella still hadn't been changed! I cringe just thinking about it! Though of course that would more than likely mean another book...

Agreed with all of that.
Steph wouldn't do that to us. She's set up the intrigue about Bella's gift, and the Volturi are SO showing up in BD, so really she has to get changed. But oh gosh I would SCREAM if she wasn't a vamp by the end of BD. I would be SO annoyed.

really?! you'd be annoyed if she wasn't a vamp after BD?
Soemtimes i think it's better if she's not. i just hope her love for edward and all doesn't lessen once she becomes a vampire. that'd break my heart/. seriously.
