Sometimes I agree, I think about the things she'll lose when she turns, how impossible it must be to leave your family and friends willingly... but to live without edward... thats why we had the events of NM I think, to prove that she can barely exist without him.

I honestly don't think her love for him could lessen once they're on an equal level. There needs to be equality in their relationship, thats always the problem. But oh gosh if he stopped loving her as much because she wasn't herself any more.. or he lost his appeal.. sad.

But I think that her love for him will never lessen, and I think they need to be equal in their relationship, so really she HAS to be changed.

Plus we have to see her gift

Actually you're right mallie *nods head*, now that i think about it, i'd be pretty darn disappointed if she wasn't a vampire by the end of BD. The build up's been enormous, we're dying to see it happen and teh aftermath.

Yeah. I mean, it would be seriously a let down if after all this build up, she didn't become a vampire. And I WOULD like to see her gift...

I think maybe at first there attraction was simply physical but now that they know eacother and have been through so much together their love goes a lot deeper and wont be effected by Bella's change...granted Edward will probably have to be a little more patient with her as she gets herself under control and she won't need him to protect her as much but I think it will be good for them to be on a more equal footing in their relationship

Funny, I don't want Bella to become a vampire.

I think part of the reason I support Jacob so much is that he's technically the better option in terms of a life (technically). She could have her family and friends, she could have kids, and most importantly (to me) she could die.

I think it would totally suck to live forever. I mean it would be great for the first century or two, but then after that, wouldn't you just get sick of it? Well I suppose Bella wouldn't because she's got Edward, but you know. But I don't ever think their love would lessen just because she's no longer human either.

I suppose I just think about all the stuff she'd lose if she turned.

yes equal footing would be great in their relationship, but is till find it cute how edward always protects/saves her - he's so over protective it's adorable.

I do agree that it would suck to live forever...even with Edward forever is a very very very long time. that reminds me of what Achilles says in Troy and how, Rosalie in particular, must feel.

i absolutely loved the part in eclipse where Rosalie sits down to speak to her in edward's room. Up 'till then Rose hadn't really said anything to Bella other than giving her the impression that she hates her.

I loved when Edward proposed. It turned me into a big ball of mush. I thought Bella was going to be turned in Eclipse. Perhaps Bella's special ability if/when she becomes a vampire will be 'the force' (Ability to move objects with her mind because of her klutziness).

To be honest I didn't like Eclipse as much. Jacob was manipulative (with good reason, yes, but still), Bella was a fickle, whiny, self absorbed victim and, oh yeah. Edward was a controlling prick ... Ah! Don't hurt me! *runs away*

Actually I agree with you that Bella was whiny and self absorbed, and that Edward was controlling. Doon't quite agree on the Jacob bit, but that could just be my biased side talking there. XD

Although I think Bella was less whiny in Eclipse than she was in New Moon. Dang, I just wanted to slap her in that book.

I did like the bit where Rosalie sat and talked with Bella in Eclipse. I do feel sorry for her on that. I'd hate to never be able to have kids and all that.
